Benaroya is a five-story office space designed for companies that want to be part of a creative, workplace environment with the energy of a startup.

 

We worked with Nelson Design to create products that fit the mission of Benaroya. The eclectic and modern vision of Nelson Design for the Benaroya lobby fit perfectly with the design intent of our Century Series furniture, which is used throughout the space. Upon arrival, tenants and guests see a custom live-edge reception desk made with hand-selected Douglas fir slab from the Pacific Northwest's renewable forests.

Colorful bookshelves create further partitions in the space, adding form and function without the cost of additional construction. A cubed space anchors the environment in the lobby and sets a fresh, collaborative feel. Twine-wrapped vertical elements, powered quartz tabletops, and colorful cushions create the perfect place for meet-ups and brainstorm sessions. Glossy white, steel, Roman bases with reclaimed Ebony Douglas fir table tops boost the aesthetic, and custom benches complete the function and beauty of the space.
